Welcome to the Physics department in Jijamata Mahavidyalaya, Sarati. The Department of Physics was starting in our college from year 2013. From the last 10 year we have succefully running the Physics department for F. Y. B. Sc. Physics and S. Y. B. Sc. Physics course. The department is fully equipped with instruments, equipment and reference books for the students of UG. Which help the students to demonstrate the various laws, principles and practicals. In addition to the theory and practical classes, there are conducted co-curricular activities by the department for the betterment of the student’s seminars, group discussions, industrial visits, guest lecturers, Science day, Blood donation, poster presentation etc. Our department helps the student to enrich knowledge through problem solving method, seminars and study tour etc. and also train student. The department of physics is pioneer department right from the inception of the college.
