The Commerce stream offers a wide range of career options for students, such as Chartered Accountant, Bachelors of Law, Cost and Management Accountant, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelors of Economics, and many more. Commerce education is essential for students who are interested in pursuing careers in the fields of finance, accounting, banking, and business. It provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to understand the complex world of business and commerce, and prepares them for a variety of career paths. Today, commerce and finance are the backbones of every industry out there because industries run on finance and they can be only managed with deep knowledge of management. For these opportunities, you have to opt for job oriented courses after 12th commerce.

The Department of Commerce  was established in 2014. Commerce department  offers different subjects like Financial accounting, corporate accounting , Advanced accounting, banking and finance, marketing and salesmanship, economics, business economics, audit and taxation, business regulatory framework, computer concept &  applications, Business mathematics and statistics for Bachelor of Commerce  (B.Com.) at the undergraduate level as per Savitribai Phule University Pune. The Commerce department  also conducts various activities for students. These include Commence exhibitions, guest lectures, bank visit, Industrial visit, commutative exam guidance poster presentation, project/survey competitions and study tours and different activities for boys and girls.
