A college Jijamata Mahavidyalaya Sarati (Lat. 17.9165620 :long. 75.0058590 ) is an educational institution situated in the Jijamata Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s Campus, Sarati, Tal Indapur, Dist. Pune. Jijamata Mahavidyalaya Sarati has approved by Government of India (N.G.C.2013(100/13)Mashi-4, Dt.15 July 2013 and N.G.C.2014(101/14) Mashi-4, Dt.14 June 2014 ) and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune (formerly University of Pune) (PUN ID ID.NO PU/PN/SC/458/2013). College has been established in year 2013 with Bachelar of Science (B..Sc.) Course. In year 2014, Bachelar of Commerce ( B.Com.) course has been started to facilitate bisubess, Accounting, banking, taxation, finanace auditingand human resource to the students.
Our Institute is multi-faculty college which offers Degree courses in Science and Commerce to the students coming from the rural areas of Indapur, Madha and Malshiras Tahsil. We have specializations at undergraduatelevel in Chemistry and Commerce. Apartfrom this we also have National Service Scheem, Earn and Learn Scheem, Sports and Bahishal Mandal Scheeme of Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune. The Institute also caters to the needs of the girls from this area, which is quiet obvious from the fact that the number of girl students in the college on the rise. The important thing is that the Institute provides bus facility to all college as well as sanstah’s parent institues. In the academic year 2022 23, their are 156 students are admitted in the college to sculpture their career in their fields.
The sanstha and college located near Nira river Sarati, Indapur Tehsil in area about 13 acres. College has been furnished with building about 36,000 sqft. About 18 teaching staff and 9 Non-teaching staff were working to accomplish the fulfilment man power. About 01 staff Ph.D., 02 staff qualified NET, SET exams. About 03 staff pursuing their Ph.D. from reputed universities.
The status gained by our college today is all because of proper guidance and inspiration of Hon. appasaheb Jagadale, President of JSPM. He has broadened the vision of every teacher and employee of the institution. The efforts of the entire college staff are focused on the academic as well as overall development of the college and the students.
